Privacy Policy

Moody Chart Calculator is a calculator for pipe flow friction factors used in fluid mechanics and engineering. The App performs its core calculations entirely on your device. We do not require you to create an account or sign in to use the App.

We collect a limited amount of information needed to operate, maintain, and improve the App.

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, precise location, contacts, photos, or other personally identifying information through the App itself.

The App uses third-party services. These providers may collect information as described in their own privacy policies.

Google AdMob (advertising - free version only): The free version of the App displays advertisements through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect or receive information from your device, such as advertising identifiers, in order to serve and measure ads. On supported devices you can limit ad tracking through your device's system settings. Removing ads is also available by purchasing a premium subscription.

RevenueCat (subscription management): We use RevenueCat to manage in-app subscriptions and entitlements. RevenueCat may receive a pseudonymous app user ID, purchase events from Apple or Google, and basic device information.

Subscription purchases are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We do not see, receive, or store your credit card number, billing address, or other payment credentials. Apple and Google's privacy policies govern the handling of your payment information.

Your calculation history, saved inputs, and app preferences are stored locally on your device. We do not upload this content to our servers. Uninstalling the App will remove this locally stored data from your device.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share information about you with third parties except: (a) the service providers listed above, acting on our behalf; (b) when required by law, subpoena, or other legal process; or (c) to protect the rights, property, or safety of our users or others.

Analytics and crash data are retained only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy, after which they are deleted or anonymized in accordance with our service providers' retention practices.

The App is not directed to children under the age of 13, or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have additional rights, for example to access, correct, or delete personal information, or to object to certain processing. To exercise any such rights, contact us using the details below.

The App may be used worldwide. Information processed by our service providers may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own, which may have different data protection laws. By using the App, you consent to such transfers where permitted by applicable law.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the limited information we process. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the Last updated date above. Material changes will be communicated through the App or our store listings. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
